The Witch’s Plant
The Witch’s Plant was a big thing for starting my art career and I believe a icon in the brand.
The story goes: I have moved into a basement apartment at a family members home as I was going to work and figuring out what I was going to do with my life. I was drawing a lot and experimenting with my art at the time whilst also getting back into my Magickal practice. AS I journaled and got through my past that was blocking me from myself, I become more open and free in a way. My head was not filled with others opinions as much, so I started drawing page after page. Ideas after ideas.
One day looking through my sketchbook I remembered a Idea about a weird but awesome creature design a few months back. I go back to the idea and just full throttle myself into making this thing. As I was making this idea I videoed my process and actually uploaded it up on YOuTube! Sadly, my stupid ass deleted that whole account (I was branded and under a different name). so that video went down with the old brand/email I had.
So on, the process of The Witch’s Plant was actually a fun but semi challenging process. If you look on my TikTok, I do have a video of a struggle I had; The way it moved in the pot. me and my father tried to plaster it in and it seemed to not like the top where the paper met the plaster. it wiggles a bit. (That is For future experimentation for sure!)
moreover, I am very happy about this project and what it had done for me. A lot of good things were happening for me and I take this project like a trophy!
its a anchor for me and I plan to have more coming! I Have a whole plan of the next ones for sure. I have it broken up into stages! I have stage 1 ,which is for sale in my store, those are the babies, than 2/3/4 and 5 stages! (my mother and I have come up with the 5th one and that has got me going with the whole stage idea! She is also my biggest fan with these creatures)!
Anyhow, thank you for reading this strange story and I hope it inspires you to let loose your creativity to create big, Awesome things!
I love and appreciate you little Ravens! bless it be!
